Hungarian cuisine owes much of its worldwide fame to the excellent, unique Transylvanian cuisine. The people of the Transylvanian villages and towns, the women of the middle class cared a lot about the household and kitchen, but even the wives of lords and princes considered it an important task to run the household, to cook and they were not puzzled by holding a cooking spoon in their immaculate hands.
